TODAY, THREE YEARS AGO, WE WELCOMED OUR FIRST GUESTS TO SLAMREKULLEN!
(A couple from Holland). Since then there has been so many wonderful guests and many new friends. Some of them come back to us, they also like to live here. Calm down in a cozy cottage – in the middle of nature đ
We are so happy and proud to have built this place, 4 years it took. We have not forget how many of our friends and dear neighbors who have helped us with ther knowledge and time – no wonder it became so good!
Midsummer it is!
Our dear guests and friends, Kerstin and Heinz from Munchen now lives in our ”uthus”. Last week we were invited to them for a dinner (german style). Potato salad and german sausages and grilled meat – lovely!
Last night, we invited for a dinner (swedish style). Since it was midsummer, we must have sill! (herring). (On Christmas and easter – we also MUST have SILL!) Not so many people like sill, but we must have it anyway, because it is tradition! (You need to learn to like it). Last night i made a ”gubbröra” (with sill, egg, potatoes, onion, apple, dill, majonnaise, tomatpurĂ©, mm. My ”gubbröra” should be eaten on ”thin bread”. Salmon was the main course – off course! đ Salomon is this regions (Halland) animal, and I love salmon!
We have a very nice evening in our wintergarden, infront of the fireplace…..with Prosecco……and beer …..and football…….match……..Germany – Sweden! We lost, but I can not care less! The best team wins. But I have never looked at WM match before in my couch, there not everyone suporting the same team!!!! Interesting.

We have had lovely summer days so far……too little rain, so the lawn has became yellow! But the summer is really nice.

The summer is really here – over 25° C every day! We are used to this now, so the summer must go on……
Tomorrow we welcome a couple from Switzweland.
the birds have a very stressful time right now. In our little pond, we have visitors (seabirds) almost every day. We have not seen Mr and Mrs Swan yet. I hope they find us again.
